You can open an international Baidu ad account through Baidu’s mainland office, Baidu’s Hong Kong office, or Oxygen. We recommend using Oxygen as the process is simpler and requires fewer documents (Baidu often requires document translation through a paid professional agency, but Oxygen doesn’t).
- Eligibility Check: Provide your business registration and website URL for initial qualification (1–2 working days).
- Document Submission: Submit scanned documents for approval (7–10 working days).
- Initial Deposit: Make the initial ad deposit via your company’s bank.
- Minimum deposit:
- RMB 7,000 (via Oxygen or Baidu Hong Kong)
- RMB 6,600 (via mainland Baidu)
- Minimum deposit:
- Contract Signing: Complete the agreement to activate your Baidu ad account.

If you hold a WFOE (Wholly Foreign-Owned Enterprise) or other types of mainland China business licence, you can open an account directly through Baidu’s mainland office without translation requirements.
- Eligibility Check: Provide your business license and website URL for initial qualification (1–2 working days).
- Document Submission: Submit scanned documents for approval (3–5 working days).
- Initial Deposit: Pay a minimum deposit of RMB 6,600 through your company’s bank.
- Account Activation: Once the contract is signed, your account will be activated within 2 working days.
